In Monaco, Steffy, Ridge and Brooke discuss all the buzz about Logan they’ve encountered over there. No one is asking about the couture line unless they bring it up.
Steffy’s looking forward to Finn’s arrival. It’s more than a business trip for her, and this place means so much to them. A reporter arrives and Brooke and Steffy try persuading him that Logan is an inconsequential start-up and promise a surprise is coming.
Once the reporter’s gone, the trio decide they need to create something special at Forrester and distance themselves from anything connected to Hope or her line. Brooke still can’t believe her daughter stabbed them in the back. Steffy feels they need to develop a new line that’s really going to “wow.”
A Monaco Miracle
On his flight, Finn is hours in and still can’t believe that Sheila booked the seat beside him. He rolls his eyes when she claims traveling together was on her bucket list. Finn fumes that this is an important trip, both professionally and personally. Sheila remembers that it’s where Steffy realized he was alive. She hopes Monaco brings another miracle. Finn shakes his head.
The Pitch
Back in Los Angeles, RJ reveals a gorgeous gown he designed to Electra, who pairs it with jewelry. He gushes about her being a top jewelry designer and she thanks him. They grin inanely at each other.
RJ’s most secretive design arrives in a bag, and he asks Electra to go and put it on and then calls Ridge overseas. His dad tells him they need to come up with something big. RJ watches Electra walk back in wearing his gown and says he might have the answer. He’ll tell him about it when he’s back. Disconnecting, RJ tells Electra she and the dress are gorgeous.
Electra gushes over the fabric and realizes he created it for her. RJ lets her know that Ridge needs a new line and he told him he may have an idea. Hope had a message that people admired and she can do that too. “Electra, I think the next youth line could be yours.”
Changed Schmanged
Back in Monaco, Steffy explains to Ridge and Brooke that Finn was delayed because of emergency surgery. She can’t wait to spend time with her husband. “Alone. The two of us together.” She explains that they’re going to meet at the chapel where they were reunited. They all scoff about Sheila claiming she’s changed. Steffy will never trust her… not in this lifetime.
On the flight, Finn warns Sheila she’s headed for further disappointment. Sheila chuckles that it’s the story of her life. She recaps Deacon getting involved with Taylor. Finn admits it was surprising. Sheila points out that she made a huge sacrifice for Steffy’s mom. Finn eyerolls, “And in return…” Sheila, clutching his arm, says she only wants a chance. She thinks he wants it too.
Sheila prods Finn, “You said you had love for me.” He reiterates that Steffy will never accept her. Sheila admits part of her understands… but if Finn would just take a stand and let her know his true feelings about his Birth Mother™ they might be able to arrange visitation. Is it too much to ask after what she did for Steffy’s mother? She’ll keep hoping for a miracle in Monaco.
The Final Scenes
At Forrester, RJ makes his pitch to Electra for her to become the new face of their youth line. She could make an impact on young women all over the world. Electra giggles that her head is spinning. She’ll think about it. “Thank you for believing in me, RJ.”
In Monaco, Brooke and Ridge recap that Steffy can’t allow Sheila near her family. She assures them that Finn will continue putting her and the kids first. Sheila’s fantasy will never, ever become reality.
On the plane, Sheila falls asleep and dreams of spending Mother’s Day with Finn and Steffy, who tells her she’s proven herself. Their family is hers now too. Finn gushes about how much he loves her and they embrace.
Finn shakes Sheila awake and grunts, “You were talking in your sleep.” Sheila laughs, “I was having the best dream.” She tells him all about it. If only it could truly be like that. She declares that she won’t give up (shocker). Sheila believes it’s all going to happen because of the magic of Monaco. Finn grimaces.
