Emma surprises Gio at the pool and tells him that they are going camping next week; she’s already booked them a spot. Unfortunately, Gio can’t go because he and Trina have to record in two weeks, and they need to have their songs written and selected by then. Emma understands and says they can go camping another time.
Serena and Lucy chat, and Serena tells her mom that Michael is on board with her joining Deception. Serena also says she doesn’t think Michael is trying to take the company away from her mom, and only wants what’s best for it.
Serena has done her research, and Michael is a smart businessman who won’t do anything to hurt the company, such as pushing her mom out. Lucy says Michael can also be ruthless when necessary, and ultimately, he will always side with his family. Lucy needs Serena to get those shares for her, so her daughter says she’ll try.
So Long, Sidwell?
Cody surprises Molly in court with flowers, as the news is spreading that Sidwell is going to prison. Molly isn’t celebrating, though, because the DA offered Sidwell a plea bargain, which he accepted, and she rearranged her entire summer and canceled her book tour for nothing. She also tells Cody that during discovery, they learned Sidwell was responsible for Maxie’s collapse and coma.
Cody is shocked and wonders whether Mac and Felicia know. Molly isn’t sure. Cody asks what will happen to Sidwell now. She says Sidwell will be in Pentonville for 31 years to life, with eligibility for parole in 26 years. Cody points out that Sidwell isn’t young and may not live another 26 to 31 years.
Cody tells Molly to look at it this way: Sidwell accepted the deal knowing she would have destroyed him in court, which makes her feel better. Cody suggests they go somewhere fun to celebrate.
Cody Meets His Sister
Back at the pool, Lucy spots Cody and Molly as they arrive. Lucy points her brother out to Serena and asks if she would like to meet him. Wondering how Cody and Serena are related? We’ve got you covered!
Lucy and Serena walk over to Cody and Molly, and Lucy introduces them. Cody didn’t know she was coming, and Lucy says she should have given him a heads-up. He calls it a nice surprise, and Molly introduces herself to Serena. They all shake hands, without even one hug between Cody and his sister. However, Lucy becomes emotional and knows Dominique would have been thrilled that they were finally together. Cody and Serena exchange numbers so they can hang out sometime. The entire meeting was extremely awkward!
Gio Disappoints Emma Over and Over
Emma tries to find another weekend in the fall when she can go camping with Gio, but every possible weekend could involve him working clubs with Trina. He promises to make it up to her, but she understands.
When he finally finishes his shift, she suggests that they go for a bike ride. Gio can’t because he and Trina have to write and rehearse, but he says maybe they can spend time together and watch a movie later if they make good progress. He kisses her and heads off.
Willow’s Out for Blood!
Willow wakes up on the couch at Nina’s and is obviously confused. She slowly starts remembering some of what happened the previous night. Nina explains that when she got home, Willow was passed out, and Michael had been there to pick up the kids. Nina says Michael told her that Willow was in an altered state, as though she were high or drunk. Willow insists she would never drink with the kids or take drugs. Nina says that, to Michael’s credit, he stayed with her until she came home, and the kids didn’t realize that anything was wrong.
Willow realizes she was drugged, and eventually, they connect the dots to Jacinda and the iced coffee! Willow cries that she almost drove the kids while high, and Michael and Jacinda will pay for it. Nina says Michael was concerned about her and may not have been involved. Willow doesn’t believe that for a second.
They can’t locate the iced coffee cup, and Willow says Michael probably took it so there wouldn’t be any evidence left behind. She wants to go to GH and have her blood drawn to prove she was drugged, but Nina says that could backfire if Willow can’t prove she didn’t take the drugs herself. Nina tries to calm Willow down but fails, as Willow vows she’s taking her kids back now and storms out.
Valentin Needs a Favor
At The Metro Court Gardens, Valentin meets with Jordan and needs a favor. He doesn’t want her to feel obligated simply because he saved her life. Jordan is confused, and he assumes she already knows. He tells her about the events on the night of her crash and how he helped Curtis get her out of the car before it exploded. Valentin says Curtis probably didn’t tell her because he was a fugitive at the time and was protecting him.
Valentin then gets to his favor. He needs information about Sidwell’s companies because he plans to buy them and Wyndmere. He wants her advice about what to acquire and insists he wants nothing illegal. She says Sidwell kept SRE clean, so he doesn’t need to worry about that.
Will Jax’s Plan for Joss Work?
Joss and Jack sit at a table, and she wants her next field assignment. He says the doctors have nearly cleared her for duty, but mentally, she needs to process the fact that she almost died.
Joss doesn’t know what he wants her to say: that she’s haunted by what happened on Spoon Island, or that if she had moved faster, she could have saved Cassius? She has her regrets but knows she did the best she could. Jack tells Joss that her first assignment was more than some experienced veterans could handle, and he can’t allow her to become crippled or killed by returning to the field too quickly. She’s too valuable an agent.
Instead of pushing papers around the office, Joss says maybe she should accept her dad’s offer to run his company, which is news to Jack. She says this is her dad’s way of trying to force her out of the WSB. Jack suggests there may be something more behind Jax leaving her the company, and he’ll look into it.
Jack then gets a call and dismisses Joss. It’s Nina, who needs his help, and she asks him to stop by her place. He says he’s on his way.
Jacinda’s Out, Too?
Jacinda arrives at the Quartermaine kitchen to help Michael understand why she drugged Willow. She thought Willow was at home, safe and alone. Michael says that wasn’t what happened; she had Wiley and Amelia and nearly took the kids out in the car while high.
Jacinda thought the kids were supposed to be with Michael, and he explains what happened and how they ended up with Willow. He tells her he arrived before they left, and he stayed with Willow until Nina came home.
Jacinda feels sick because she never intended to put the kids in danger. Michael knows that, and she cries that she never would have forgiven herself if anything had happened to them. Michael says it’s only a matter of time before Willow realizes she was drugged and suspects he put Jacinda up to it.
Michael says he got rid of the cup, so Willow can’t prove anything. Jacinda thinks they’re in the clear, just as they were when she drugged Drew. Michael says that’s the problem; this creates a pattern. Jacinda realizes she has just given Willow ammunition against him, which Michael says his ex is certain to use.
Michael already has one strike against him because the town believes he shot Drew. Willow will use this and likely get full custody of the kids. Jacinda says there has to be a way to fix this. Michael says, as much as it hurts him, they have to end their relationship. He also believes it’s best for Jacinda to leave town.
Jacinda says she’s grateful that he always respected her and made her feel she was worth caring about. He tells her she deserves happiness and a peaceful life, and he has set up a bank account for her. She refuses to take his money, but he calls it an investment in her future so she can build the life she deserves. The only life she wants is the one she’s leaving…
In the Show’s Final Moments
Michael puts the bank account number into Jacinda’s phone and asks her to use the money to build a wonderful life and be happy. They kiss goodbye, and she has no idea where she’s headed, but she always figures things out. She leaves…
At the pool, Lucy asks Serena what she thinks of Cody. She says he seems nice, and Lucy says he’s a good guy. She says having a brother seems wonderful after traveling the world alone for so many years.
Cody tells Molly that meeting his sister wasn’t on his to-do list, and admits it was a little strange meeting her that way. But his sister seems cool, and he was initially a little bitter when he learned she was their mom’s only heir. Then he started concentrating on what he has: her, Outback, and his horses.
At the restaurant, Jordan tells Valentin that Sidwell’s ships are huge moneymakers, and he has a small phone app that’s about to become a major success. She says if he needs more tips, she wants a consultant’s fee, so he should make her an offer.
Jack arrives at Nina’s, and he asks whether she drowned someone else. She tells him this is serious, Willow’s war with Michael is escalating, and she fears it will destroy her family.
Gio finds Michael in the kitchen looking out the door and asks if he’s okay. Michael isn’t, and fears things are about to get worse. That’s when Willow arrives and tells him she’s taking full custody of her kids starting now!
On the next General Hospital, Isaiah offers Portia some good news. Curtis asks Jordan if she really wants to use her association with Sidwell. Willow tells Gio that Michael had his girlfriend drug her, and she can prove it. Ric tells Sonny he isn’t relieved, just the opposite. Drew tells someone he’s going to do everything he can to marginalize him.
