In Monaco, Steffy tells Brooke and Ridge that she’s tracking Finn’s flight. She’s excited to be reunited with him there. After some complaining about Katie and Logan, Ridge tells Steffy their sales reports aren’t good… they have to do something before it’s too late. Steffy heads out to meet Finn.
On the plane, Finn cringes as Sheila leans over him to look out the window. He offers to switch seats if she wants to see Monaco because as soon as this thing lands, she’s getting off and flying straight back to L.A.
Sheila ignores this and pesters Finn with snacks until he nearly snaps. Not taking her son’s hints, Sheila starts gushing about renting a convertible when she gets there. Finn informs her again that she’s not leaving the airport. The miracle in Monaco isn’t happening. He won’t allow her to upset Steffy.
They land, and Finn reiterates to Sheila once again that she cannot stay and upset his wife. Sheila sighs. If he wants her to go, she’ll go. He thanks her, wishes her a safe flight home, and exits the plane. Sheila whispers, “Enjoy your time in Monaco.”
Don’t Wake the Kids
At the cliff house, Taylor tuts to Deacon that they can’t have a sleepover while babysitting the grandkids. Talk turns to Monaco and romance and they kiss. He’s randy, but she doesn’t want to risk waking the kids. Deacon chides that Finn must be having a very different experience than him.
Soon, they get into the Sheila situation… because they don’t seem to have much else to talk about. Deacon tries changing the subject to how lucky he is to have Taylor in his life. He marvels at his life changing in so many amazing ways this year. He wants to build with Taylor and pulls her to his side. He has never been more certain about anything than being with her.
Trouble Brewing
In Monaco, Steffy looks up at the church and smiles. “Soon, Finn. Soon.”
Back on the plane, Sheila muses that she has a few hours before her flight leaves… she might as well make the most of it. Outside the airport, Finn hops into the car service and texts Steffy that he’s on his way. She flashes to him finding her there when she thought he had died.
Elsewhere, Ridge and Brooke are taking in the scenery and making out when Fanny walks up. Ridge teases, “Franny the fragrance queen,” as the woman breaks the news she’s doing Katie’s new perfume line. They moan and groan and shake their heads in disbelief after she goes.
The Final Scenes
At the airport overseas, Sheila gets in a car at the airport and directs the driver to – where else? – but the chapel.
At the cliff house, Deacon’s still going on about how lucky he is to have snagged Taylor, who made him feel he could be the man she trusts. She helped him start seeing possibility everywhere. He loves her and never wants to be apart from her. She feels the same way. He’s relieved and impulsively drops to one knee and proposes.
In their hotel suite in Monaco, Ridge tells Brooke how much he loves her. She returns the sentiment as they kiss.
At the chapel, Finn rolls up and calls out Steffy’s name. They come together and kiss much as they did the last time and she recalls how she thought he was dead back then.
Nearby, Sheila gets out of her hire car and watches them over the bushes.
Steffy and Finn gush to each other about how in love they are and how grateful they are to have each other. He spins her around and they kiss tenderly… with Sheila watching all the while.
