People are frightened by all kinds of things. Some dislike bugs, others are afraid of heights, and then there are those moments when being caught off guard sends chills down your spine. Something along those lines recently happened when The Young and the Restless’ Eileen Davidson (Ashley) took a trip with her husband, Vincent Van Patten (Ex-Christian), and their son.
“From Hotel Boulderado to Hotel Colorado and beyond!” the CBS soap veteran began in a post on her official Instagram. “Speakeasies and healing hot springs. Graveyards and 25 miles on a jet ski. What a trip!” She went on to reveal that her husband “booked a haunted hotel” — one they knew nothing about until the couple had been lying in bed and “reading the brochure.” Not only was the hotel haunted, but they discovered they were staying in the very “haunted room of the hotel!”
Under the post, which was filled with various photos from their adventure, Davidson explained further, “My husband and son heard conversations in the middle of the night. We were staying in the tower and literally had nobody next to us. Above us or below.”
And in another post, the couple was filmed sitting in a car and singing their version of The Turtles 1967 hit “Happy Together” while their son sat in the backseat… Was that a pleading “stop” we heard?! “Summer Roadtrippin’!” the actress cheered before adding, “Seven-10 hours in the car each day and no one got murdered. But it was close!”
Road trips are the best, but haunted hotels… not so much — unless, of course, that’s your thing!
