At the pool, Hudson is finishing his swimming laps, only to run into Joss, who tells him he needs to stay in his lane. He asks about the list of candidates he gave her for JJE, but she says she’s not making a decision until she researches them.
Joss finishes her laps, only for Hudson to pressure her to choose. Right now, the company is spiraling with no one at the helm, and before long, there won’t be a company left to run.
They finally sit at a table, and Joss knows the company needs a CEO, but choosing the wrong person could be disastrous. She tells him to narrow down the list of candidates, and she’ll consult someone she trusts about them. Hudson says the time that will take will cost people their jobs.
Rocco Gets Good News
Rocco is on duty when Britt shows up. He complains that his parents are smothering him, but she says that’s getting off lightly after running away with her. He doesn’t regret it, as he wanted to spend as much time with her as he could before…
Rocco asks about her disease and medications, and she reveals that the entire thing was a lie cooked up by Cullum to control her. He tells her how sorry he is that she went through that but is thrilled that she’s going to live. Britt says fake or not, the diagnosis pushed her to do bad things and hurt people she loved.
Anna’s Transfixed
Anna and Emma are at a table, and Anna is focused on Britt across the way. Emma unloads on her grandmother that between her working overtime to get into vet school and Gio and Trina’s rise to stardom, she and Gio may see less and less of each other until they’ve drifted apart.
Anna tells Emma that she and Gio are both smart, kind, and considerate, and that they care for one another, so she knows they’ll work things out. Emma realizes her grandmother is right and they can figure this out.
Emma asks her grandmother to order another drink, and she steps aside to talk to Gio (over the phone, we have to assume). That’s when Peter joins Anna and tells her not to let Britt break her connection with Emma.
Emma returns to her grandmother, and Anna suggests that she and Gio try to get away for a quick weekend somewhere like they did when they went to NYC. As Emma looks up ideas, Anna remains transfixed by Britt…
As Britt continues talking with Rocco, Anna interrupts to have a word with Britt.
Waiting For the News
At Portia’s, Marshall and Stella are waiting for Curtis to come home and announce his acquittal, though Stella says that will only create a new mess. They fear Curtis fighting Portia over Isaiah, which will only begin another war, and that Trina could cut them both out of her life completely.
What Is Curtis’ Fate?
In court, Martin and Molly talk before the jury returns and note that it has taken them much longer than they expected to reach a decision.
Jordan and Curtis arrive outside the courtroom, as do Trina and Kai. Jordan and Kai give them space, and Trina says she had to find out about the verdict from her grandpa. Curtis was trying to respect her boundaries and wasn’t sure he wanted her there, but is glad she is. That’s when Isaiah and Portia arrive.
Curtis heads into court, and Trina tells her mom and Isaiah that, while she’s supporting dad today, they shouldn’t take it to mean she’s siding against them. They understand and head into court.
The jury has returned and reached a verdict. The forewoman rises, and the jury has found Curtis…. GUILTY! Jordan is devastated, Isaiah smiles, and Trina is heartbroken.
Curtis is sentenced to ten years in Pentonville, with the possibility of parole in two years. Even Molly looks stunned by the sentence.
Martin manages to get Curtis 48 hours before he must report to Pentonville to say his goodbyes. The lawyer says they can appeal, but he doesn’t know if it will make a difference. Martin heads out, and Molly gives Jordan a look as she goes too.
Curtis embraces Jordan, and Trina, in tears, also hugs her father.
Later, Curtis and Jordan are alone. Curtis can’t believe Isaiah now gets at least two years to be the perfect father to his son. Jordan promises him that he’ll get through this with the help of those who love him. She makes it clear she’s going to wait for him.
Back at Portia’s, she returns alone and must break the news to Marshall and Stella. Portia hugs Stella, as Marshall joins in.
Trina and Kai go to Bobbie’s, and she is in disbelief over what has happened. She’s already missed so much time with her dad. Kai tells her she isn’t alone; she has him.
Michael Makes Willow An Offer
Willow arrives at the Quartermaine kitchen to find Michael cleaning up after making cookies with the kids. Willow says he told her she could have the kids for the week, and that breaking the terms of their agreement is a major mistake. She threatens to go to the PCPD about the blood test she took. Michael says her accusations won’t mean much now that he has proof she shot Drew.
Willow tells Michael that they both know he shot Drew. Michael says it must be exhausting playing the victim role, but she’s been caught. He pulls out affidavits from Kai and Trina about that night and lays out the evidence regarding the ringtone and the phone records that can be pulled.
Willow points out that she was acquitted and can’t be charged again, but Michael says double jeopardy doesn’t apply in family court. He says she’ll never see their kids again unless she does exactly as he says. Otherwise, she’ll lose everything: the kids, her Congressional job, and her reputation.
Michael taunts her that he could simply file these with the court right now. She’ll likely have another breakdown, have to go away, and after a while, the kids won’t even remember her.
Willow picks up a rolling pin to hit him, but he stops her. He notes it’s a little harder to kill someone face-to-face instead of sneaking up behind their back. Willow suggests they discuss the situation, but Michael says what he has over her is far more damaging than her drug test.
Willow says the kids love and need her, but Michael says the truth is, she needs them more than they need her. He tells her that she’s lucky he’s not as vindictive as she is, and he doesn’t want to cut her out of their lives. He is offering to keep the custody agreement the same, but she wonders what he wants from her.
In the Show’s Final Moments
At the pool, Joss tells Hudson to refine the list of candidates and then send it to her. He tells the boss she’ll have it ASAP.
At the Qs, Michael spells out his conditions to Willow. She’s to move back into the gatehouse so he can keep an eye on her. She will not be taking the kids to DC alone, no more vacations with the kids without him, and he demands her passport. She’s forced to accept, but tells him, “I hate you!” He says given her skills, she’ll be able to hide that from the kids.
Isaiah heads to Metro Court Gardens and drinks, which is when Jordan shows up. They both had the same idea: returning to the scene of the crime. Isaiah claims he only wanted justice, not to wreck Curtis’ life. She tells him, “Come on, you knew you couldn’t get one without the other!”
Curtis arrives home and hugs Stella and Marshall. Portia is standing there with Dez, and he goes over to see him. He takes the baby outside to talk alone.
Marshall says he prayed Curtis would never be separated from his son as he was from Curtis. He tells Portia she helped him find his way back to Curtis, so she needs to help Curtis do the same with Dez when the time comes. Portia promises she will, and Stella says they all will.
Outside, Curtis tells Dez he must go away for a while, and will do everything he can to get back to him as soon as possible. He may not be here but will send his love to him every second of every day.
At Bobbie’s, Kai decides to leave Trina, who has started writing her feelings out in song lyrics. Kai heads out, saying he’ll see her at her place later. We then see Trina’s stalker looking through the window at her.
Finally, at the pool, Britt tells Anna that she’s sorry for lashing out at her, and Anna says she was also too hard on her. Anna offers to help her find info on Cassius, but it must be kept secret. Nothing in writing between them, no texts, no emails. She’ll contact her about meeting when she has something to discuss.
Britt thanks her and leaves, and Peter tells Anna, “Nicely done. The bait is set; now all you have to do is set the trap and eliminate Britt once and for all.”
On the next General Hospital, Tracy tells Michael to use what he has against Willow and get her out of their lives! Scout swears Rocco to secrecy with what she has to tell him. Charlotte tells Danny, “When Drew goes low, you go lower!” Drew is having a meeting with Alexis when Jack appears and says, “A man in Drew’s position can’t afford to make any more enemies.” Justine meets with Sonny and asks, “Is he going to live long enough to serve his sentence?”
